Young Leaders Making Youth Arts Academy a Better Place

Empowering Students to Make Change

The Youth Arts Academy Student Advisory board is a prestigious and select group of diverse, energetic students who share a love for Youth Arts Academy and a passion for advocating its importance.

Plan Events

The Students on the board will help plan events at Youth Arts Academy, including the Open House, Club Night, and Commotion, along with any events the board decides to put on. Students will work with the Youth Arts Academy Staff to choose a theme, select decorations, help with advertisements, select sponsors, and more!

Provide Program Feedback

Students will be encouraged to contribute their unique perspectives to the group. These students will be on the ground floor of new programming brought to Youth Arts Academy. They will be able to help decide elements such as topics for master classes, individuals for discussion pannels, and more!

Volunteer

The Student Advisory Board provides students numerous opportunities to gain vaulable volunteer experience. The students will be involved in every event, from handing out programs at recitals, to running check in at Commotion, and everything in between. The older students will also act as mentors to the junior board.
